The Hasselblad Sonnar T 150mm f/4 CF* is a medium telephoto lens designed for the Hasselblad V-system, covering the 6x6 medium format frame with an angle of view comparable to roughly 90mm on 35mm format. Built by Carl Zeiss for Hasselblad, it uses the classic Sonnar optical formula, four elements in three groups, prized for smooth rendering and contained flare thanks to T* multi-layer coating.
As a CF lens, it integrates a Synchro-Compur leaf shutter, offering speeds from 1 second to 1/500s plus B, mechanically coupled to the camera body for full-aperture flash synchronization at any shutter speed. Aperture ranges from f/4 to f/32, and the front accepts Bayonet 50 filters and accessories, the standard mount size for Hasselblad's C/CF lens line.
Minimum focusing distance sits around 1.4 meters, making this a versatile choice for portraiture, product photography, and general telephoto work on Hasselblad 500-series and compatible bodies. The CF designation places it within Hasselblad's modernized lens generation, succeeding the earlier C series while retaining full mechanical compatibility with vintage V-system bodies.
