Hasselblad Planar T* 80mm f/2.8 CFE is a standard-focus medium format lens designed by Carl Zeiss for the Hasselblad V system, featuring a Planar optical formula with 7 elements in 5 groups and Zeiss T multi-coating* for high contrast and controlled flare performance. With an 80mm focal length on 6×6 format, it delivers a natural perspective equivalent to approximately 45mm in full-frame terms.
The lens offers a maximum aperture of f/2.8 and a minimum aperture of f/22, combined with a built-in Prontor mechanical leaf shutter supporting speeds from 1s to 1/500s plus Bulb, with flash synchronization available at all shutter speeds. Minimum focusing distance is 0.9 m, and focusing is fully manual through a helicoid mechanism optimized for precise operation.
As part of the CFE generation, the lens incorporates electronic data contacts for advanced compatibility with Hasselblad 200-series bodies and metering systems, while retaining full compatibility with classic 500-series cameras. Construction includes a Bay 60 filter mount, approximately 510 g weight, and a compact barrel design suited to modular Hasselblad bodies.
