The fixed Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* lens covers 28–100 mm equivalent (10.4–37.1 mm actual) at a bright f/1.8–4.9, with Optical SteadyShot. The front control ring, full P/A/S/M modes and RAW (ARW) + JPEG capture give real manual control and latitude in post.
Also on board: 10 fps burst, 25-point AF, Full HD 1080/60p AVCHD video, a 3.0″ 1,229k-dot Xtra Fine LCD, pop-up flash, Micro HDMI and USB. The aluminium body measures 101.6 × 58.1 × 35.9 mm and weighs 240 g with NP-BX1 battery and card, rated 330 shots (CIPA). Accepts SD/SDHC/SDXC and Memory Stick.
