Condition recap
The Fujifilm GW690 II is a fully mechanical medium format rangefinder introduced in 1985, exposing 6x9 cm negatives on 120 and 220 roll film: eight frames per 120 roll, sixteen on 220, plus a selector for four-frame half-rolls. Its fixed EBC Fujinon 90mm f/3.5 five-element lens takes 67mm filters and is shielded by a built-in lens hood that also covers the aperture and shutter controls when retracted. The Copal #0 leaf shutter runs from 1 s to 1/500 s plus T, while the manual-focus rangefinder provides parallax-corrected framing down to 1 m. Over the original GW690, this second version adds a hot shoe, a shutter-release lock and a checkered grip. It needs no batteries and features a double-stroke film advance, a frame counter on the bottom plate and a tripod socket. Often nicknamed the "Texas Leica", it is a popular choice for 6x9 film photography.
