Condition recap
The Olympus Mju II (also known as the Olympus Stylus Epic) is a compact 35mm point-and-shoot film camera introduced in 1997. Its optical system features a fixed 35mm f/2.8 lens constructed from 4 elements in 4 groups, paired with an active multi-beam autofocus system capable of focusing from 0.35m to infinity. Exposure is handled automatically via a programmed electronic shutter operating from 1/1000s to 4 seconds, with selectable spot metering and automatic DX-coded film speed recognition ranging from ISO 50 to 3200.
Housed in a splash-proof (all-weather) sliding clamshell body, the Olympus Mju-II includes a real-image viewfinder, automatic film loading, advancing, and rewinding, plus a 12-second self-timer. The integrated color-balanced flash offers Auto, Red-Eye Reduction, Fill-In, Night Scene, and Flash Off modes. Powered by a single CR123A lithium battery, this pocketable analog camera measures 108 x 59 x 35 mm and weighs 135g without battery
