It employs a fully automatic exposure system with a programmed electronic shutter, active autofocus with focus lock, and a real-image zoom viewfinder for accurate framing. The camera supports DX-coded ISO 50–3200 film, automatic film loading, advance, and rewind, along with an integrated automatic flash offering multiple flash modes. Additional features include macro focusing down to 0.6m, panorama format switching, a weather-resistant body, and power supplied by a CR123A lithium battery. Its lightweight and compact construction makes it well suited for everyday 35mm photography while maintaining the fully automatic operation characteristic of the Mju series.
