The barn doors and mirror unit are working correctly. An issue with the shutter button block the cycle, not allowing the camera to shoot. The shutter button is stuck and needs repair.
Excellent cosmetic state and palpas state. The waist level finder lens pops up when opening the hood and needs to bo adjusted. One scratch on the focusing screen.

Shutter speeds range from 1 s to 1/500 s plus Bulb, entirely mechanical and independent of batteries. The body incorporates a mirror reflex viewing system with a waist-level finder as standard, supporting precise manual composition.
The 500 C/M employs the V-system bayonet mount, compatible with a wide range of Zeiss C and CF lenses. Focusing is fully manual via a precision helical focusing mechanism. Construction is based on a metal chassis, designed for dimensional stability and long-term mechanical accuracy. The camera supports multiple focusing screens, including split-image and microprism options, optimizing focusing precision across shooting conditions.
