Optical design includes 12 elements in 10 groups with aspherical and ED elements for aberration control. Integrated Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) enhances handheld performance. The body features a 3.0" tilting LCD, ISO 200–6400 (expandable), and Full HD 1080p video. The system supports contrast-detection autofocus and continuous shooting up to 5.6 fps.
