It is typically equipped with a Novar-Anastigmat 75mm f/4.5 lens or Tessar 75mm f/3.5, delivering high optical resolution and consistent sharpness across the frame. The camera uses a leaf shutter (e.g. Compur or Prontor) with speeds generally ranging from 1s to 1/300s plus Bulb, ensuring flash synchronization at all speeds. Focusing is manual via front-cell or unit focusing, with distance scale calibration. The viewfinder is optical, aligned for waist-level or eye-level use. Its compact folding design enables reduced transport size while maintaining rigid film plane alignment during operation.
