The camera records 4K UHD internally in full-frame format using full pixel readout without pixel binning, alongside support for S-Log2, S-Log3, and professional video gamma profiles for color grading workflows.
Its compact magnesium-alloy body incorporates a 5-axis in-body image stabilization system, weather-resistant construction, and a high-resolution 2.36M-dot OLED electronic viewfinder. The hybrid autofocus system combines contrast-detection precision with continuous tracking support for both stills and video. Additional features include high-frame-rate Full HD recording up to 120 fps, uncompressed HDMI output, Wi-Fi/NFC connectivity, dual-format RAW/JPEG capture, and compatibility with the extensive Sony FE lens system through the E-mount platform.
