With a maximum aperture of f/2.8, it provides good light-gathering capability and depth-of-field control suitable for landscape, architectural, and environmental photography. The 7-blade circular diaphragm contributes to smooth background rendering.

Autofocus is internally driven and electronically coupled, ensuring precise and quiet focusing performance compatible with both still and video shooting. The lens supports direct manual focus override (DMF) for fine adjustments.
