The Olympus Mju Zoom 105 Deluxe is a fully automatic 35mm compact camera introduced in 1995, designed around an integrated zoom system and electronic operation. It features a 38–105mm f/4.5–8.9 zoom lens constructed with 6 elements in 5 groups, including aspherical correction, providing extended focal coverage in a compact form factor.

Focusing is handled by an active autofocus system with multi-step precision and focus lock capability, with a minimum focus distance of approximately 0.6–1 m. Exposure is fully automatic, with shutter speeds ranging from 4 s to 1/500 s, coupled with DX-coded ISO detection from 50 to 3200

The camera integrates a motorized film transport system with automatic advance and rewind, alongside an LCD panel displaying frame count and operational status. A built-in pop-up flash supports multiple modes including red-eye reduction and fill flash

The Deluxe variant adds Panoramic Mode, Quartz Date imprinting and optional remote control functionality. The body is weather-resistant, powered by a CR123A lithium battery, and maintains compact dimensions around 120 × 64 × 44 mm with a weight near 250 g.
