The Hasselblad 80mm f/2.8 Planar T* is a standard prime lens designed for the Hasselblad V System, providing a natural angle of view equivalent to approximately 50mm in full-frame terms. It features a Carl Zeiss Planar optical design with 6 elements in 5 groups, delivering high resolution, balanced contrast, and accurate color rendition. The T* multi-coating enhances light transmission while minimizing flare and ghosting. Its f/2.8 maximum aperture offers bright viewing and effective depth-of-field control, while the leaf shutter supports flash synchronization at all shutter speeds. The lens uses manual focus with precise mechanical operation and a 67mm filter thread, making it well suited for portrait, landscape, studio, and general medium format photography.
