The Fujifilm X10 is a high-end compact digital camera built around a 12 MP 2/3-inch EXR CMOS sensor, designed to balance resolution, dynamic range, and low-noise performance. It features a Fujinon 28–112mm (equiv.) f/2.0–2.8 zoom lens, using all-glass elements and a manual zoom ring with mechanical precision. The camera supports RAW (RAF) and JPEG capture, leveraging Fujifilm’s EXR processing for optimized tonal response.

Image processing is handled by the EXR Processor, enabling high-speed operation, quick startup, and responsive autofocus. The X10 includes a 2.8-inch LCD display and a bright optical viewfinder with zoom-linked framing. Shutter speeds range up to 1/4000s, with ISO sensitivity from 100 to 12,800 (extended). Video recording is supported at Full HD 1080p with manual exposure control.

The body is constructed with a magnesium alloy chassis, offering rigidity in a compact form.
