Cleaned, sanitized, film tested and in perfect working condition. Last upgrade of the L35AF lineup, same as the AF3 but with the databack. Very rare!

Excellent overall cosmetic state with only minor wear. All the buttons and dials works flawlessly. Clean lens with no fungus or dust. Some very minor haze in the back, not affecting image quality.

Everything works flawlessy: advance, spacing, metering, flash. The internal mechanism that wraps the roll looks broken on the top but works perfectly, it's a very common defect that do not alter the operation.

It features a Nikkor 35mm f/2.8 lens with 5 elements in 4 groups, delivering sharp imaging and consistent contrast across the frame. The autofocus system employs an infrared active sensor, providing accurate subject detection and fast focusing performance in various lighting conditions.

Exposure control is fully automatic, with a programmed electronic shutter ranging from 1/8 to 1/430 s, coupled with automatic film speed detection via DX coding (ISO 50–1000). The automatic flash unit integrates seamlessly into the metering system, offering fill-in and low-light assistance when required.

The camera’s motorized film advance and rewind ensure smooth operation and quick cycling between shots. A bright viewfinder with focus and exposure indicators aids composition and shooting precision.

Built into a robust, weather-resistant body, the Nikon AD3 combines reliable automation with optical quality characteristic of Nikon’s compact series.
