At Camistry, we believe in the quality and longevity of the photographic gear we sell. While second-hand goods are not covered by the classic 2-Year Warranty guaranteed by the European Union, we want to ensure our customers have a confident and secure shopping experience. That's why we created the Camistry Care warranty, a dedicated service for our valued EU customers.

1. Warranty Coverage

For the majority of our pre-owned products, we are proud to offer a 1-year Camistry Care warranty. The inclusion of the Camistry Care warranty is explicitly stated in the item's description on our website. This warranty is a testament to our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

2. Vintage and Professionally Refurbished Items

Please note that products classified as "vintage" (items older than 20 years from their original release date) are generally not covered by the Camistry Care warranty due to their age and nature.

However, an exception is made for specific vintage items that have been professionally refurbished by our expert technicians. In such cases, the product description will clearly indicate the inclusion of the Camistry Care warranty.

3. Warranty Period

The Camistry Care warranty is valid for one year, starting from the date the item is delivered to you. In some specific case we may offer 2 or 3 years warranty, when explicited.

4. What is Covered?

Should your item exhibit a working defect during the warranty period, the Camistry Care warranty covers one of the following remedies, depending on the specific case:

  • Repair: We will restore the item to full working order.

  • Replacement: We will provide a like-for-like replacement.

  • Refund: We will issue a full refund for the item.

5. Shipping Costs

We've got you covered. The Camistry Care warranty includes the cost of shipping. We will provide you with prepaid shipping labels for the initial return of the defective item, ensuring a hassle-free process for you.

The availability of this service is subject to change in remote areas not covered by traditional shipping services.

6. Exclusions

The Camistry Care warranty does not cover:

  • Accidental Damage: Any damage resulting from drops, impacts, liquid spills, or other forms of accidental mishandling.

  • Consumable Components: Specific consumable parts that are subject to wear and tear through normal use may not be covered.

  • Cosmetic Condition: To be eligible for warranty service, the item must be in a comparable aesthetic condition to when it was purchased. We understand that careful use will result in minor signs of wear, and this is acceptable. However, significant cosmetic damage may void the warranty.

7. How to Make a Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, please contact our customer service team. We may require photographic and/or video evidence of the issue to assess your claim and provide the appropriate solution.
