Il Fujifilm XF 60mm f/2.4 R Macro è un teleobiettivo a focale fissa corto progettato per il sistema APS-C Fujifilm X-mount, con una lunghezza focale equivalente di circa 91 mm. È ottimizzato per ritratti e primi piani, con un'apertura massima di f/2.4 per una ridotta profondità di campo e un utilizzo efficace in condizioni di scarsa illuminazione.
Lo schema ottico comprende 10 elementi in 8 gruppi, con un elemento asferico e un elemento a bassissima dispersione per il controllo delle aberrazioni sferiche e cromatiche. L'obiettivo supporta un ingrandimento 1:2 (0,5x), consentendo la fotografia semi-macro con una distanza minima di messa a fuoco di 26,7 cm.
L'autofocus è azionato da un motore interno con messa a fuoco posteriore, che riduce al minimo il "breathing" e mantiene la lunghezza focale complessiva dell'obiettivo durante l'uso. La messa a fuoco manuale è fly-by-wire, con una ghiera di messa a fuoco lavorata con precisione.
