La fotocamera supporta la registrazione video 4K/60p a 10 bit di alta qualità con supporto F-Log e HLG interno, rendendola adatta sia ai fotografi che ai videografi. Il suo design di ispirazione retrò include un mirino elettronico OLED ad alta risoluzione da 3,69 M di punti e un LCD touchscreen inclinabile da 3,0 pollici per una composizione flessibile. La X-T3 è inoltre dotata di due slot per schede SD, protezione dalle intemperie (se abbinata a obiettivi appropriati) e Wi-Fi e Bluetooth integrati per una connettività senza interruzioni.
