It features a 24–100mm equivalent f/1.8–2.8 lens with optical image stabilization, providing versatile coverage and good low-light capability. Autofocus is contrast-detect with Face and Eye Detection, and continuous shooting reaches up to 20 fps (One-Shot AF).
Video recording includes 4K at 30 fps without crop, and Full HD up to 120 fps. It also supports vertical video and livestreaming over YouTube (via Wi-Fi). The G7 X III includes a 3.0-inch touchscreen LCD that tilts 180° upward for selfies and vlogging.
Other features include USB-C charging, a built-in pop-up flash, mic input (3.5mm), Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and in-camera RAW processing. It uses SD/SDHC/SDXC cards and weighs approx. 304g with battery and card.
