All buttons and dials function flawlessly. The LCD display has no panel defects or marks and comes with a glass protector installed. The EVF works perfectly. 

The lens is free of haze, fungus, and significant dust and comes with protection filter. There is a minor dust spot on the upper part of the sensor, only visible in the pictures when using very closed aperture and only on even subjects, like the sky. This is very common for this model and nowadays it's almost impossible to find one that is free from almost 1 spot, but fortunately the placement on this exemplar makes it very easy to edit it out. 

Comes with the beatiful original carrying case from Sony, that can turn into an half case. 

The Sony RX1R II is a high-performance, full-frame compact camera equipped with advanced imaging components in a small, fixed-lens body. At its core is a 42.4MP full-frame Exmor R back-illuminated CMOS sensor, paired with a BIONZ X image processor, enabling high-resolution stills with a wide dynamic range and excellent low-light capability. The native ISO range spans ISO 100–25,600, expandable to ISO 50–102,400.

The RX1R II features a ZEISS Sonnar T 35mm f/2 lens* with a 9-blade aperture diaphragm, delivering high central and edge sharpness, pleasing background separation, and minimal distortion. The lens is fixed and optimized for the sensor, ensuring high microcontrast and detail rendering across the frame.

One of the unique features of this model is its optical variable low-pass filter (OLPF), which can be adjusted (Standard, High, or Off) to balance resolution and moiré control depending on the subject. This feature is uncommon outside medium format and professional modular systems.

Autofocus is handled via 399 phase-detection AF points covering a wide portion of the frame, integrated with contrast-detection AF, providing fast and precise focus acquisition. The continuous shooting rate is up to 5 fps with full resolution and tracking.

The body includes a pop-up 2.36M-dot XGA OLED electronic viewfinder (EVF) and a 3.0-inch tilting LCD with 1.23M-dot resolution, allowing flexible shooting angles and high visibility. File formats include 14-bit RAW and JPEG, and the camera supports uncompressed RAW for maximum post-processing latitude. Build quality is solid, featuring a magnesium alloy chassis in a compact form factor.
