The camera has never been used with mechanical shutter, so the shutter counter is extremely low, below 1000.

The unit shows slight cosmetic wear consistent with light use. 
All the buttons and dials are responsive. The display has no scratches, shows a very minor defect on the right side where a small light bleeding is visible, as showed in the last two pictures. The defect does not alter the shooting comfort and won't worsen with time.

The sensor has been professionally cleaned and shows no defects.

The Sony α9 II (ILCE-9M2) is a full-frame mirrorless camera designed around a 24.2MP stacked Exmor RS CMOS sensor with integrated DRAM and backside illumination (BSI). Paired with the BIONZ X image processor and front-end LSI, it delivers high-speed data readout, minimized rolling shutter, and real-time processing efficiency. A standout feature is the blackout-free continuous shooting at up to 20 fps with the electronic shutter, maintaining full AF/AE tracking. With the mechanical shutter, it supports up to 10 fps. 

Autofocus system is phase-detection based, covering 693 phase-detection points and 425 contrast-detection points, with 93% frame coverage. It supports Real-Time Tracking and Real-Time Eye AF for both humans and animals, operating continuously during high-speed bursts.

Video capabilities include 4K (UHD) recording, with full pixel readout and no pixel binning across the full width of the sensor (6K oversampling), using the XAVC S codec. It also supports 1080p up to 120 fps. Focus peaking, zebra, S-Log profiles, and clean HDMI output are available.

The EVF is a 0.5" Quad-VGA OLED with 3.69M dots and 120Hz refresh rate, while the rear LCD is a 3.0-inch 1.44M-dot tilting touchscreen. The build includes a magnesium alloy chassis, full weather sealing, and redesigned shutter unit rated for 500,000 cycles.

Connectivity is extensive: Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 4.1, dual UHS-II SD card slots, 1000BASE-T LAN, PC sync terminal, and FTP transfer with background support. Also supports voice memo tagging with built-in mic and speaker.
