The Yashica T4 Safari is a 35mm compact film camera featuring a Carl Zeiss T 35mm f/3.5 lens*, known for its sharpness and contrast. It uses a passive multi-beam autofocus system with a focus range from 0.35m to infinity. The camera includes automatic exposure control with a built-in programmed electronic shutter (1s to 1/700s).
It has a real-image viewfinder with parallax correction marks and an integrated automatic flash with various modes, including red-eye reduction and slow sync. The weather-resistant design makes it more durable for outdoor use. Film advance and rewind are motorized, and the camera supports DX-coded film from ISO 50 to 3200. Powered by a CR123A lithium battery, it offers a compact, lightweight build with a distinctive olive-green “Safari” finish.
