The back display works flawlessly without dead pixels. There are some surface marks, not visible when turned on. Sensor is perfectly clean.

The camera exhibits an issue with the optical image stabilization system. While OIS can be disabled in the menu and the camera remains fully functional—zoom, autofocus, and general operation all work as expected—an “OIS error” message will typically appear after a few seconds to some minutes of use. Once the message appears, the camera requires a restart to resume operation.

Despite this, the camera remains usable without any kind of repair for short sessions with OIS turned off, though frequent restarts may be necessary during extended use.

The Panasonic Lumix TZ100 is a compact travel zoom camera that balances portability with strong imaging capabilities. It features a 20.1-megapixel 1-inch MOS sensor, significantly larger than those found in typical compact travel cameras, allowing for improved low-light performance, better dynamic range, and enhanced image detail.

The TZ100 is equipped with a Leica DC Vario-Elmarit 25-250mm equivalent lens with a 10x optical zoom and an aperture range of f/2.8-5.9, making it versatile for a wide range of shooting scenarios, from landscapes to portraits and telephoto shots. The lens includes 5-axis Hybrid Optical Image Stabilization (O.I.S.).

The TZ100 includes both a 3-inch touchscreen LCD and a built-in electronic viewfinder (EVF) for better visibility in bright conditions. Other features include RAW image support, built-in Wi-Fi for easy image sharing and remote shooting, and depth from defocus (DFD) autofocus technology for faster and more accurate focusing.
