The Fujifilm X-E4 is a mirrorless digital camera featuring the APS-C X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor, with a resolution of 26.1 megapixels. It uses a back-illuminated design and Fujifilm’s proprietary X-Trans color filter array, which reduces moiré without the need for an optical low-pass filter.

The camera is built around the X-Processor 4, enabling high-speed operation, including burst shooting up to 8 fps with the mechanical shutter and up to 20 fps with the electronic shutter (or 30 fps with a 1.25x crop).

The X-E4 records video at up to 4K/30p (8-bit internal, 10-bit 4:2:2 via HDMI) and supports Full HD at 240 fps for slow-motion capture. The camera includes F-Log recording and offers film simulation modes. It has a 2.36M-dot OLED electronic viewfinder with 0.62x magnification and a 3.0-inch, 1.62M-dot tilting touchscreen LCD, which can flip upward 180 degrees.

The body is compact and rangefinder-style, with minimalist controls, including a shutter speed dial and customizable buttons. It features USB-C, micro-HDMI, and 3.5mm microphone input (headphone monitoring via USB-C with adapter). The X-E4 supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 for wireless image transfer and remote camera control.
