The Fujifilm EF-20 is a compact external flash unit designed for Fujifilm cameras with a hot shoe, including X-series models. It has a guide number of 20 (ISO 100, meters), suitable for close to mid-range fill or bounce flash applications.
The flash head can tilt upward to 90°, allowing for bounce flash off ceilings or other surfaces. It does not swivel side-to-side. Flash coverage is optimized for lenses with a focal length of 28mm or longer (35mm equivalent).
The EF-20 supports TTL (Through-The-Lens) automatic exposure control when used with compatible Fujifilm cameras. Flash output is automatically adjusted based on metering data from the camera.
Power is supplied by 2 AA batteries, and recycling time depends on battery type. The flash has a manual power control switch with basic output level adjustments.
