La Yashica T4 Safari è una macchina fotografica compatta da 35 mm con obiettivo Carl Zeiss T 35 mm f/3.5*, noto per la sua nitidezza e contrasto. Utilizza un sistema autofocus multi-beam passivo con una gamma di messa a fuoco da 0,35 m a infinito. La macchina fotografica include il controllo automatico dell'esposizione con un otturatore elettronico programmato integrato (da 1 s a 1/700 s).
