It exposes 56x70mm frames on 120 or 220 roll film through the Pentax 6x7 dual bayonet mount, shared with the full lens lineup. Unlike earlier 6x7\/67 bodies, it has a built-in right-hand grip. The horizontal cloth focal-plane shutter covers 30s to 1\/1000s, plus B and T modes, with flash sync at 1\/30s via the 5P terminal. Standard features include mirror lock-up, multiple exposure, and a 12-second self-timer, powered by two CR123A batteries. The dedicated AE prism finder adds aperture-priority auto exposure, center-weighted\/spot\/multi-segment metering, ISO 6-6400, and +\/-3EV compensation, with interchangeable focusing screens and viewfinders across the system.
